On April 2, 2013, NIA President, Dr. Seang-tae KIM, signed an MOU with Hyung-Kwon Oh, the Secretary-General of Green Cross Korea at NIA headquarters in Seoul.

Based on NIA’s own consulting methodology and curriculum to foster Green IT that has been developed, NIA plans on sharing its know-how and experience with international organizations and developing countries so this opportunity to cooperation with a local chapter of an International NGO follows this plan.

Green Cross is a global non-governmental organization which aims to foster a global value shift towards a sustainable and secure future. Green Cross has been advocating for smart solutions to global warming and educating millions of people about climate change and how to adapt to an ever-changing environment around the world.

Based on this recently signed MOU between the two organizations, NIA will provide training materials, guidelines and lecturers for future Green Workshops planned by the Green Cross as well as support for Green IT consulting services with foreign international governments that want to develop their own Green IT initiatives in their respective countries.
