Sudan NIC and NCA Agree to Promote Inter-Agency Cooperation
A Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the National Information and the
National Computerization of Korea in Seoul on May, 2. The MOU is a result from
visit of an IT delegation from Sudan which included Abdeldafi Elkhateeb
Secretary General of the Minister of Information and Communications and Abd
Allah Alfadil Director General of the National Information Center on March 29.
During the visit, Elkhateeb Secretary General showed a keen interest in the
national informatization model of Korea and expressed his hope that cooperation
between the two nations to continue through a program of human resource
exchanges.
The MOU stipulates cooperation in the area of e-government. The document was
signed by the Hyun-Kon Kim Vice-President of the NCA and Babiker Ali Khalifa
Ambassador of the Republic of Sudan to the Republic of Korea.
