The President of NIA, Kim Sung Tae, participated in a meeting of ITU/UNESCO Broadband Committee, held in New York on September 19th, to confirm the 'Broadband Future Report'.
During his trip, Dr.Kim signed MOU on September 21st with WHO for a mutual cooperation on the usage of ICT for Health. NIA and WHO will be working together with West Pacific nations and Pacific Islands Club (PICs) in identifying and sponsoring the ICT usage in health area, supporting related seminars and symposiums, standardizing the software framework for the medical services improvement, and collaborating on medical informatization research and capacity building, etc.
