On June 12, the Slovak Republic Ambassador to Korea, Dusan Bella visited NIA and had a meeting with NIA President Seang-Tae Kim and some other NIA staff in order to learn more about Korea || chr(39) || || chr(39) || || chr(39) || || chr(39) || || chr(39) || || chr(39) || || chr(39) || || chr(39) || s e-Government development history and forge some new cooperation ideas between Korea and the Republic of Slovakia.

On the heels of the EU Vice President - Maros Sefcovic || chr(39) || || chr(39) || || chr(39) || || chr(39) || || chr(39) || || chr(39) || || chr(39) || || chr(39) || s visit to Korea, Ambassador Du?an Bella who like, EU Vice President Sefcovic also hails from the Slovak Republic, expressed an interest in ICT cooperation and learning more about Korea || chr(39) || || chr(39) || || chr(39) || || chr(39) || || chr(39) || || chr(39) || || chr(39) || || chr(39) || s e-Government. During the meeting, Ambassador
Bella met with NIA President, Seang-Tae Kim where they discussed some mutual interests in the area of IT as well informatization projects both in Seoul and Bratislava.

After the meeting with NIA President Kim, other NIA staff presented Korea || chr(39) || || chr(39) || || chr(39) || || chr(39) || || chr(39) || || chr(39) || || chr(39) || || chr(39) || s e-Government development as the Ambassador showed some particular interest in informatization expansion to municipalities in the Slovakia. Slovakia already works closely with the Korean private sector as both KIA and Samsung Electronics have operations in the country.

Ambassador Bella promised to review all the information that was provided to him on his visit to NIA and make the appropriate contacts with relevant organizations in Slovakia so that meaningful and beneficial ICT Cooperation could take place between the two countries
