The AI Government Division leads pan-government AI transformation by planning strategic policies and reforming legal frameworks for public sector innovation. We innovate the policy paradigm through intelligent, citizen-centric services—including proactive benefit notifications, Public MyData, Open Digital Services, and Virtual Assistant services.

By strengthening the AI common platform and cloud-native transitions, we reinforce the foundation for government innovation. We also ensure stable management of information resources through government-wide disaster recovery systems. We are committed to leading a public-private AI ecosystem and driving sustainable initiatives to complete a safe, convenient, and citizen-led Democratic AI Government.

  • Policy & Governance: AI government policy planning, action plans, and governance support.
  • Reform & Research: Public sector AI adoption strategies and legal/institutional improvements.
  • Ecosystem Growth: Activating AI services and fostering public-private partnerships.
  • Performance Management: Establishing resource management systems and performance monitoring.
  • Service Discovery: Identifying new AI services for central and local government agencies.
  • Process Innovation: Reforming project management, auditing, PMO, and procurement methods.
  • Trust & Stability: Ensuring AI service interoperability, reliability, and security foundations.
  • MyData & Open Data: Policy planning and execution for Public MyData and Open Digital Services.
  • Service Expansion: Expanding citizen-centric AI services (Benefit Alerter, Digital Wallet, etc.).
  • UX/UI Innovation: Standardizing public web environments and innovating user interfaces.
  • Standard Framework: Developing and managing the AI Government Standard Framework.
  • Common Infrastructure: Implementing and spreading pan-government AI common platforms.
  • Convergence Platform: Building digital convergence platforms and public-private AI projects.
  • Testbed & Support: Operating AI testbeds and supporting citizen-led AI utilization
  • System Recovery: Preventing system failures and providing disaster recovery technical support.
  • Disaster Safety: Discovering AI-based safety services and providing technical support.
  • Facility Stability: Strengthening the stability of AI services and operational facilities
  • Global/Local Cooperation: Managing internal and external cooperation for AI government initiatives.
  • Cloud Strategy: Planning cloud policies and promoting cloud-native transitions.
