The Department of AI Gov Infrastructure develops policies on cloud and information resource infrastructure for the implementation of AI Government. It supports digital innovation across the public sector by establishing mid- to long-term cloud transformation plans and improving relevant laws, regulations, and guidelines. The Department also provides specialized technical support for public-sector cloud and cloud-native transformation and promotes the use of commercial SaaS to build a flexible and efficient infrastructure for AI Government.
In addition, the Department strengthens the stability of AI Government services and operational facilities. It supports the prevention, response, recovery, and post-incident management of information system failures to ensure uninterrupted public services. The Department also reinforces government-wide management of information resource infrastructure and establishes disaster recovery systems. Through these efforts, it enhances the stability and resilience of national information resources and builds a secure, sustainable foundation for an AI Government that citizens can trust.
